PocNAT™ is a point-of-care nucleic acid testing technology company, founded in June 2022 by a joint research team
from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and veteran entrepreneur from the MedTech industries. Its PocNova™
testing system is accurate, simple, low-cost, and rapid. Its unique and proprietary nanoparticle-based
loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) result readout method (Pocthogen™) has achieved significant
advancement over existing LAMP result readout methods in terms of accuracy and/or simplicity, thus holding great
potential to be a next-generation gold standard in decentralised nucleic acid testing.
PocNAT™ aims to become a global turnkey solution provider of nucleic acid-based diagnostic technologies, to
develop innovative technologies and products through multidisciplinary collaboration, and to serve the community
for better public health protection.
